Happy Thanksgiving!

Two items of note:

Justin just finished college. Normally, when someone refers to college as "the best five years of their life", it's because they were underachieving. Not so with Justin.

Second of all, the sad truth behind Thanksgiving.

Asymmetry in Nature

Chris,

Per your request, I present something asymmetrical in nature.

Seriously though, you're right. There isn't that much asymmetry in nature, other than variation in skin, pores, blemishes, etc. But, reptiles don't generally have spikes on the end of their tails (cue the stegosaurus flames)

More AO color tests

So the first one is me ripping off Frank Miller, the second one is me ripping off Mike Mignolia. Cheers.

Unused concept for our Reptile friend

This is what Chris dubbed the Nick Toons version of Roteus.

Little background, Roteus is in the "Movie" version of A4H, so the design wasn't appropriate for that particular treatment. He's an eight foot, four-armed crocodillian of some kind with acid for blood and it arrived on your spaceship. It kills on sight and is generally unpleasant. And, of course, you expect me to accept all this on your word.

posted this just to post it, its a watercolor from the old movie concept. It gives a good feel for the color and it's one of my favorite pics of Ao.

Concept_03 - Colored!

Color really isn't my strong point, but i wanted to play with custom brushes a bit...still trying to find a technique that suits me.

Going somewhere...but not there yet

This is an effort to go more stylized with AO. I know it's not exactly what we're going for, but tyring to find a middle ground between Justin's spazzy lines, Chris' graphic shapes, and my anatomical mess.

Any objections to me coloring it?

Ain't Nuttin' but a G Scene, Bay-bee

The cool thing is, I know I've uploaded all the panels when the continuity reads fine. Schweet!
